Désolé, Jimmy, j'avais raté cette photo parue la veille de notre départ au Kenya ! Idée audacieuse le N et B, mais audace payante !
Très belle atmosphère, me manque juste un peu de piqué, j'aime le plus la deux, au flou de bougé (? au 1/2000 ?) très esthétique.

merci bien, non elle n'a pas était prise au 1/2000 ème, c'était une tentative de "filé", j'étais sur un bateau donc pas évident. C'est aussi celle que je préfère, en "grand" il y a une partie parfaitement nette sur le coup qui renforce un peu cette photo. Pour les autres, il faut aussi dire que je n'ai pas accentué...

Exercice de style non sans intérêt. La difficulté ici est de disposer de très bons originaux. J'ai un peu l'impression que tes blancs sont un peu cramés. Cela manque un peu de détails dans les zones claires. Pour autant cela me donne des idées pour la suite, c'est dire que l'exercice fait des émules. La deuxième pour moi, pour l'attitude du Héron.

Bonjour, les zones claires ne sont pas cramées, mais c'est vrai qu'il y a des hautes lumières sans détails, je peut essayer de retrouver ça localement sous photoshop. Je n'avais fait qu'un traitement général sous lightroom sans travailler par zones donc. Par contre il y a des zones complètement bouchés, et ça c'était voulu, peut-être que j'ai un peu trop poussé le traitement...

The second image in the series is my favourite. I love the wing position and the blurring of the feathers. While I like the black and white treatment, the images seem a little out-of-focus (on my monitor anyway) and perhaps slightly over-exposed in some of the highlights. If you captured the image as RAW files, perhaps it would be worth processing them again with slightly less exposure? Also...if you like working in black and white there's a great "Zone System" (think Ansel Adams) digital processing tool called LightZone (by Light Crafts software - www.lightcrafts.com) that you might want to check out.

I capture image in RAW & i use lightroom. ZoneMapper (lightzone) seems to be excellent. thx
