Hello,

I'm going to be leading an Instructional Photo Tour into the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Sanctuary on the northern BC coast in late May. This instructional photo tour will be limited to 6 attendees (plus me) - one spot is already gone so only 5 remain. I'm going to start marketing the trip NEXT week but thought I'd give all the folks at Nunda Foto a heads-up/headstart before going public with this. There's a few final details to be worked out, but the gist of the trip is this:

1. Nights of May 26/27 in Prince Rupert BC - half day of class-room style instruction on wildlife photography, with special reference to bear photography (and protocols from shooting from the zodiac, etc.). Second half of day open but likely dedicated to eagle photography in or around Prince Rupert.

2. May 28 to May 30 (3 days) - photographing grizzlies in BC's stunning Khutzeymateen Valley, with instruction and photographic help between shooting sessions and in the evening.

3. Accommodation in Khutzeymateen will be on 71-foot sailboat - we'll have full-time access to a Zodiac boat and at least one full-time guide.

NOTE: The Khutzeymateen is closed to the public - access ONLY via two certified guides.

Cost - around $2500 CDN/USD - includes pretty much everything once you arrive in Prince Rupert. Cost will be finalized next week.

Je vais conduire un groupe dans le Khutzeymateen Grizzly Sanctuary pour une formation en photographie animalière, sur la côte nord-est de la Colombie Britannique, fin mai.
Cette formation sera limitée à six personnes, une place est d’ores et déjà retenue, il en reste donc 5.
Je vais commencer la promotion de ce voyage la semaine prochaine, mais j’ai pensé que ce serait bien de donner une longueur d’avance aux gens de Nunda avant de rendre la chose publique. Il reste quelques détails à régler , mais voici les grandes lignes du projet :
1- Nuits du 26 et du 27 mai à Prince Rupert : une demie journée de cours de photographie, avec une partie spéciale sur la photo des ours, et spécialement depuis le Zodiac. L’autre demie journée en principe dédiée à la photo d’aigles dans et autour de Prince Rupert.
2- Nuits du 28 au 30- Photographie de grizzlis dans la Khutzeymateen Valley avec enseignement et aide photographiques pendant les prises et aussi pendant les soirées.
3- L’hébergement à Khutzeymateen se fera sur un bateau de 71 pieds, avec le libre accès à un Zodiac, et avec au moins un guide particulier. Le Khutzeymateen est interdit au public, l’accès ne se fait qu’accompagné par deux guides certifiés.
Le coût, environ 2500 dollars US (ou canadiens) incluant à peu près tout à partir de votre arrivée à Prince Rupert.
